Greetings,

I am Bebe Cool, born Moses Ssali on September 1, 1977, and it's a pleasure to share a glimpse of my journey with you.

My passion for music ignited in the late 1990s, where I embarked on my musical odyssey, initially finding my footing in Nairobi, Kenya,

See Morebefore returning to the vibrant music scene of Uganda. Those early days were filled with exploration and discovery, as I honed my craft alongside the talented artists at Ogopa DJs.

Education played a significant role in shaping my journey. From Aga Khan Primary School to Kitante Hill School and Makerere College School, I immersed myself in academics while nurturing my love for entertainment. Despite excelling in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics, the call of music beckoned, leading me to pursue it wholeheartedly.

Over the years, I've been honored to receive recognition for my contributions to African music. Awards like the HiPipo Music Awards' Artist of the Year and the Pearl of Africa Music Awards stand as testament to the dedication and passion I pour into my craft. Tours across the United Kingdom and the United States have allowed me to connect with fans worldwide, sharing the rhythms and melodies that define African reggae and ragga.

Collaborations have been a cornerstone of my musical journey. From iconic figures like Halima Namakula to the dynamic duo of Necessary Noize, our collaborations have transcended borders and genres, resonating with audiences far and wide.

One of the highlights of my career was the "Battle for Africa" music event in Harare, Zimbabwe, where I had the honor of showcasing my talents alongside Nigerian artist D'banj. Additionally, the recognition of my rendition of Philly Lutaaya's "Born in Africa" as one of Africa's greatest songs by BBC World Service remains a cherished milestone.

Beyond the stage, I've been privileged to engage in philanthropic endeavors close to my heart. From performing at the Nelson Mandela 90th Birthday Tribute to spearheading fundraising efforts for children with heart diseases, giving back to the community has always been a guiding principle.

While music remains my passion, I've also found a voice in political advocacy, standing in support of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni during Uganda's presidential elections in 2021.

The journey has been one of highs and lows, triumphs and challenges, but through it all, the love and support of fans have been my constant companions. Together, we've celebrated wins at prestigious awards ceremonies and weathered storms with resilience and determination.

As I continue to evolve as an artist and advocate, I am grateful for the opportunity to share my music and my message with the world.
