See Moreby the rich culture and music of my homeland. My roots trace back to the beautiful Mbale district, where my love for music blossomed at a young age. Singing in my local church in Ntinda at the tender age of six ignited a passion within me that would shape the course of my life.
At 16, I had the honor of participating in the "Capital Radio All Stars talent search," where I proudly clinched the third spot, a moment that fueled my determination to pursue music wholeheartedly.
It was fate that led me to the doorstep of acclaimed producer Steve Jean, a mentor whose guidance would forever change my life. Together, we ventured into the "Coca-Cola Pop Stars" competition, a journey that birthed the iconic girl group, Blu*3, in 2003. Alongside my talented comrades Lilian Mbabazi and Jackie Chandiru, we embarked on a musical odyssey that would captivate audiences across Uganda and beyond.
The years with Blu*3 were filled with unforgettable moments and milestones. From Best Artist/Group awards at the Kisima Music Awards to Video of the Year honors at the Pearl of Africa Music Awards, our journey was nothing short of magical. The transition to a solo career in 2008 marked a new chapter in my musical odyssey, one filled with exploration, growth, and creative expression.
My debut solo album, 'Ayokyayokya' (2009), struck a chord with audiences across East Africa, birthing chart-toppers like "Mbikooye" and "Nawewe." The transition into acting opened new avenues of creativity, with performances in films like 'Bella' and 'November Tear' earning recognition on both local and international platforms.
As the Acting President of the Uganda Musicians’ Association (UMA), I am deeply committed to fostering unity and growth within Uganda's vibrant music community, a responsibility I hold dear to my heart.
