In recent times, I've made waves in the Ugandan music scene with my melodious voice, captivating audiences with singles like "He Got No Money," released late last year, and the current hit "Where've You Been," which has dominated the airwaves on both radio and television stations across the country.
While much of my professional life is public knowledge, there are aspects that remain veiled, such as my relationship with Flybonet NTV Xpozed host, MC Kats. Rumors swirl that he manages my career, but only time will reveal the truth.
When it comes to my musical endeavors, I'm proud to record all my music at the Bukoto-based studio, Buddiez. Music isn't just a career for me; it's a passion that fuels my soul.
You may know me as Fille, but my full name is Fille Mutoni, a name bestowed upon me by my mother. Despite its Rwandan origin, I've spent my entire life here in Kampala, embracing both my Ugandan and Rwandese heritage.
My music is a collaborative effort, with me contributing at least 80% to the songwriting process. Working closely with my producer, Andy Muzic, we create melodies and lyrics that resonate with listeners.
One of my most notable songs, "It's Not About The Money," resonates with many despite being based on a fictional narrative. Contrary to popular belief, I believe that true love transcends material wealth.
Outside of music, I value honesty and genuineness in any relationship. While the spotlight often shines on my personal life, I remain focused on my craft and maintaining professionalism in all endeavors.
As I continue to navigate the music industry, I'm grateful for the support of my fans. Their unwavering encouragement drives me to push boundaries and explore new musical horizons.
So where can you find me performing? Keep an eye on my social media channels, particularly Facebook, for updates on upcoming shows. And for those wondering about my fees, I offer flexibility, typically charging between Shs800,000 and Shs1m per performance.
As for the future, I'm optimistic about what lies ahead. I strive to evolve as an artist, constantly innovating to keep my music fresh and engaging for my audience.
In closing, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to my fans. Your support means the world to me, and I promise to continue delivering music that speaks to your hearts.
