Hey everyone! I’m Joshua Baraka, a Ugandan singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist with a deep passion for RnB and Afro-pop music. I was born in 2000 in Kazo, Uganda, where I was blessed to grow up in a musically inclined family. My love for music was shaped by the gospel

My musical journey began in church, where I first found my voice. I started by singing in the choir and quickly picked up instruments like the drums and guitar. Over time, I mastered the piano and developed my skills in music production, allowing me to bring my artistic vision to life.

In 2020, I took a big step forward by recording my own tracks, and in 2021, I released my debut EP, Baby Steps. This project marked my official introduction to the music industry, and I haven't looked back since.

Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of releasing several albums and singles. My 2023 hit track "Nana" gained immense popularity, topping the charts on Apple Music and Audiomack in Uganda and becoming the most Shazamed song in the country.

I’m proud to say that my musical style is all about feel-good, live music. I love exploring various themes, from romance to self-acceptance, and incorporating a wide range of rhythms and melodies into my songs. With a diverse musical background, I'm continually inspired to push the boundaries and create fresh, modern sounds.
